The Adler Pension can be found in Budaörs, in a smaIltown of extraordinary beauty lying only 8 km from the capital, along the highway E5 (M1) connecting Vienna and Budapest. The German peasant houses and wine-vaults of Budaörs show truly the old atmosphere of the town of more than 750 years old and which was famous for its viniculture in the 19th century.

The Adler Pension which is housed in a reconstructed old press-house with wine-vault of the 19th century, is awaiting its guests in the old town. In this pension ofhomely atmosphere there are 27 rooms, most of which are double-bedded, but we can provide also three- or four-bedded rooms at the request of our guests. To each room belongs a bathroom with shower, and every room has a TV-set, radio and telephone. The guests of the pension are invited to encounter the dishes of the outstanding Hungarian cuisine in our intimate restaurant on the ground- floor of the pension, or to taste the famous Hungarian wines in our vaulted wine-cellar. There is a parking-place closed for the night in the pension garden staying at the disposal of our guests. From spring to late autumn a grill- terrace covered with a roof is operating in the garden offering by grilled specialities a pleasant pastime and a lot of culinar experiences for our guests in bad weather as weIl.

Budaörs of today as the western towngate of the capital Budapest provides innumerable possibilities for the visitors seeking for relaxation, touring and shopping. The lovely situation of our pension is the reason why we recommend it for those tourists and businessmen who don’t want to put up at a pension in the commotion and the busy hum ofa large city, but look for an accommodation in peaceful, quiet, familiar, small-townish surroundings offresh air in the neighbourhood of the capital.

The Adler pension owned and operated by our family was named after ADLER, the German car brand popular before the 2. world war. The two families have more automobiles of this type which can be seen on the spot. The prlzes won at different oldtimer car races decorate our restaurant, and descriptions, newspaper articles of that time in connection with this brand can be found and read on the walls.
